Mona Lisa Hook

Mona Lisa Hook, 60, née Bodinet, of Worth, died July 7 at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights. A private celebration of Mrs. Hook’s life will be celebrated at a later date. Arrangements will be made by Schmaedeke Funeral Home in Worth.

Mrs. Hook is survived by her daughter, Amanda Ambrose; her brother, Kirk Bodinet; and her sister, Teresa Plucinski.

Mrs. Hook was born in Chicago and worked as an accountant for a chemical manufacturing company.

Vivian E. Meyer

Vivian E. Meyer, 95, née Russert, of Worth, died July 9 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice. Visitation was held July 12 at Schmaedeke Funeral Home in Worth. A funeral service was held July 13 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Palos Heights. Interment was at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery in Oak Lawn.

Mrs. Meyer is survived by her daughter, Loretta Boswell; her sister, Loretta Heinz-Kline; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Meyer was born in Worth. She worked as a school custodian. She was a charter member of the Marrs-Meyer American Legion Post 991 Auxiliary.

Warren K. Sherman

Warren K. Sherman, 77, of Alsip, died July 14 at home. Visitation and a chapel service were held July 18 at Schmaedeke Funeral Home in Worth. Interment was private.

Mr. Warren is survived by his wife, Phyllis Richards; his sons, Ross, Todd, and Paul; his brother, Kenneth; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Warren was born in Detroit, Mich. He worked as a warehouse manager.
