Margaret J. Bulow
(nee Vander Molen)
Age 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the home of her daughter. Born in Mt. Greenwood and lived in Chicago Ridge for 60 years. Retired in 1996 from Jewel Food Stores after 30 years of service. Margaret loved to play Canasta and Shanghi with her friends.
Preceded in death by her husband Norman, a grandson Michael Duty, her parents Adolph and Caroline (Homan) Vander Molen, a brother Arnold and a sister Helanie “Babe” Harn.
Survived by her loving children, Linda (Reid) Ceponis and John (Teri) Bulow, four grandchildren Deanna (Eric) Felgenhauer, Todd (Jennifer) Duty, Tracy (Deron) Summers and Brian (Nicole) Bulow, nine great-grandchildren Dylan, Tyler, Ryan, Evan and Isabella Felgenhauer, Loralei and Zoie Summers, Trent and Matthew Bulow, brothers Marvin and Richard Vander Molen and a sister Charlotte Vozzi. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Per Margaret’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
Funeral services will be held Sunday evening, 5:00 pm in the O’NEIL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 1105 E. 9TH ST. (159TH ST.), LOCKPORT with Rev. Dr. Robert T. Dealey offciating. Visitation Sunday, 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
