Edward R. Tybor, 90, of Oak Lawn, died Oct. 6 at his daughter’s Oak Lawn home. Visitation was held at Robert Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home in Burbank on Oct. 11. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Linus Church in Oak Lawn on Oct. 11. Interment was held at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Hillside on Oct. 11
Mr. Tybor is survived by his sons, Terrence and Edward Jr.; his daughter Judy Krizner; his sister, Anne Tisoncik; seven grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.
Mr. Tybor was born in Chicago. He served in the U.S. Army, was an active fraternalist, talented musician, long-time funeral director and loyal Slovak Catholic Sokol. He was a member of First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, St. Michael’s Golden Agers, St. Michael’s Holy Name Society, Catholic Order of Foresters, Royal Order of the Moose #44, Johnson- Phelps VFW Post 5220, Local #727, Funeral Directors Services Association, Illinois Funeral Directors Association, National Funeral Directors Association.
