John M. Polacheck, 50, of Monroe, Mich., formerly of Oak Lawn, died Jan. 20, in Michigan. Visitation was held at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home in Oak Lawn (William H. Scott, F.D.) on Jan. 24. A funeral Mass is to be offered today Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. at St. Linus Church in Oak Lawn. Burial is to be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Worth.
Mr. Polacheck is survived by his son, Matthew; and daughters Megan and Bridget; his father, Robert and mother, Vivian Polacheck; his brother, Robert; his sisters, Mary Dunne and Diane Falkenthal; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Polacheck was born in Evergreen Park. He was an engineering supervisor at a nuclear plant.
