Clyde J. Sasveld

Clyde J. Sasveld, 75, of Alsip, died March 9, at Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno. Visitation was held at Colonial Chapel in Orland Park on March 12. A chapel service was held at the funeral home on March 13. Burial was at Beverly Cemetery in Blue Island.

Mr. Sasveld is survived by his wife, Mary; his sons, Glenn and Ronald Sasveld; his brothers, John and Allan Sasveld; many nieces and nephews; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Sasveld was born in Chicago. He was self-employed, former owner of Worth Printing and a bus driver for 33 years for Southwest Chicago Christian Schools. He was a U.S. Army veteran, Korean War, and was awarded the Purple Heart. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Kankakee Valley or the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno (Alzheimer
