Wilbert Charles Strutzenberg, 80, of Chicago, formerly of Worth, died Jan. 8, at home. Schmaedeke Funeral Home in Worth handled funeral arrangements. Memorial services will be held at a later date in the spring. Burial was at First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Alsip.
Mr. Strutzenberg is survived by his brother, Eugene Strutzenberg; his brother-in-law, James Szafranski; his friends in the Pullman neighborhood and 32 nieces and nephews, including Dan, Kenneth, Vern and Neal and niece, Nancy.
Mr. Strutzenberg was born in Worth. He was retired from The Monarch Laundry in Chicago. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.
